We are currently looking for a Principal Scientist for a growing Biotechnology company in London. As a Principal Scientist you will lead target validation to support multiple programs within the company’s drug discovery pipeline. Responsibilities include · Working with stakeholders you will provide expertise to discovery programs by developing and implementing validation strategies. · Run experimental strategies to confirm and characterise therapeutic targets. · Using your expertise in molecular biology, histology, and immunofluorescence techniques IHC, IF, confocal microscopy, qPCR, western blotting) you will evaluate target expression, localisation, and regulation in disease-relevant models and human tissues. · Use and implement advanced technologies, such as multiplex IF, spatial transcriptomics, or digital pathology to expand the company’s validation capabilities. · Design biomarker strategies that strengthen translational tools. Ideal candidates will: Have a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or Pathology or related subject along with significant experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry within target validation. You will have experience working within drug discovery pipelines and have expertise in molecular biology, histology, and immunofluorescence techniques including IHC, IF, confocal microscopy, ISH, qPCR and western blotting. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Regulatory Manager to join a growing Chemical company in West Yorkshire As the Regulatory Manager you will monitor and manage all regulatory compliance aspects of raw materials and products for the company. Responsibilities include: · Monitor and manage requirements for raw materials to comply with global chemical registers (e.g. EU/UK REACH), including registration maintenance · Complete and submit required regulatory documentation regulations and deadlines demand · Design and implement monitoring policies and procedures to ensure compliance with existing and new regulations. · Keep abreast of new and changing regulations, develop strategies and action plans with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance. · Investigate and address any reported issues of regulatory non-compliance. · Liaise with customers on a regulatory basis to provide support. · Maintain critical chemical data systems including labelling, Safety Data Sheets creation (SDSs), dangerous goods notes in support of intermediate products and finished products. Ideal candidates will have A degree in Chemistry (or related science subject) and have experience in a regulatory management or supervisory role with the Chemical industry. You will have experience in REACH and global compliance demands, and ideally with food contact materials. We are currently looking for a Senior Analytical Scientist to join a scientific research company in Oxfordshire. The company has a novel technology platform and specialises in the formulation and development of biologicals to combat infections. The Role: · Perform analysis of biomolecules using ELISA and HPLC. · Develop, validate and troubleshoot methods for the analysis of a range of complex formulations. · Design and lead experiments to overcome technical challenges with Biochemical analysis. · Plan and lead stability studies · Support analysis using Gel Electrophoresis (SDS Page, Western Blot), Protein and cell-based Assays. · Lead on projects and write analytical report, including presenting data. · Mentor and train new members of staff.
